2026-03-02

For a long time, gold jewelry has been highly favored by people. For such high-end jewelry to have a market, both the craftsmanship and design are indispensable. With the gradual maturity of 3D printing technology, jewelry manufacturers have also begun to introduce this technology. Now, some brand manufacturers have applied 3D printing technology to the mold-making process of gold jewelry. The specific steps are as follows:
First of all, the designer needs to use professional 3D modeling software to create a 3D digital model of the jewelry.
Step 2: Import the 3D model into the high-precision 3D printer and print out the wax mold.
The third step is the mold removal. This is typically done using the ancient lost-wax casting method, which involves creating a wax tree, applying gypsum, baking the gypsum, pouring the molten metal, washing and cleaning the gypsum mold, and cutting the cast piece.

The fourth step is to mold the piece. The entire process of molding is carried out manually. A specially designed scraper is used to push back and forth on the surface of the jewelry. This technique requires certain skills and techniques.
Step 5: Select the gemstones and diamonds, and set them in place.
Step 6: Polishing and electroplating.
